i don't know every band on the bill, but from what I see, the only band I know for sure has a woman in it is flogging molly and propagandi. seems there's a few more, but you have to dig pretty deep.

Also, this lineup is trash. Pretty much all of these bands have done rockfest before, and those who haven't come through here a few times a year. this is the perfect quebecois lineup, but i can't say a single headliner is exciting to me, which is too bad.

 

Do you know when it will be announced? If don't know, anyway you could leak it? haha

 

In addition to Propagandhi, there's also Flogging Molly (violin/tin whistle), The Horny Bitches (all-girl quartet) and Days n Daze (trumpet/uke + washboard). But yeah, 4 bands still ain't shit.

 

And you have to get to the end of the fourth line for the first. Yikes. Flogging Molly is the best though, and Bridget is always the standout of their live shows. They’re one of the few bands I hope follow over to RF this year.

 

Propagandhi is the best band on that line up easily

Yeah it was even worse for Rockfest last year. Roughly 130 bands and I counted 3 women in total. Assuming 4 members per band thats 0.58%

 

PTV seems to be hinting really hard at something, Anyone have info on it?

Vic and the band’s instagram account have constant tour pictures going up just about everyday saying how they miss touring

 

Down for that too. But their new album is complete trash so they may be helping us out here

Streetlight Manifesto announced a 15 year tour for Everything Goes Numb

 

Kinda odd that The Fever 333 aren't playing with any openers on these headlining shows.

 

Not even kidding I’ve worn a Counterparts shirt to an All Time Low show before so I would be 100% here for this.

 

Fuck, am I excited about that Boston show.

 

Anyone else in here ever get tickets from Lyte.com? Basically you agree to a "market price" for sold-out shows, get in a online queue, and you only get charged/tickets if you get to the front of the line.

I'm sold, and honestly I wish more venues did this. It prevents people from transferring tickets, but also takes away the astronomical Stubhub/SeatGeek prices...Plus you can see how many people are in front of you to get tickets which is cool.
