I’m definitely going to the show Saturday. I’ve been getting really into Looming over the past few days.

Looming covered Zombie (The Cranberries) which was rad. I enjoyed them a good bit.

Yowler played as a three piece and was alright. I think she works better on her own, but I understand wanting to have a bigger sound when being the direct support on a tour.

I actually put on Charmer today on a whim, forgot how much I love it. Gonna jam Spin while doing some cleaning later.

 

How long was Looming’s set?

 

If anyone wants to go see Tigers Jaw at the House Cafe, let me know and you can have my ticket (for $free.99) I can't go anymore but I don't want it to go to waste. Figured I'd give it a shot here before putting it out on Twitter.

 

Looming played 10 songs in okc. Tigers jaw killed it

 

Update: Yowler is wonderful and not at all what I was expecting

My thoughts? I love TJ. I got really into them last year before Spin came out. Spin was one of my favorites of the year, and I like almost everything they’ve put out. I think they gotten better with each album. I was able to see them once last year opening for Manchester Orchestra and it was a really fun experience.

 

falling in love with this album all over again.

 

It’s a good one!

 

it's always funny revisiting records a year later around the same time they came out and having all that nostalgia flooding in.

 

Somehow I missed these..

 

The Far Out series is incredible.
