The last three oil cartridges I got were duds so I think I'm done with them for awhile. A lot of them tend to leak and get sticky at the bottom, clogging it from giving any hits. I even have one that I can get maybe 1-2 tiny hits out of and then it stops working for hours until I can get another couple hits. Some get air bubbles that seem impossible to get rid of- I've even tried heating it with a hair dryer to make it more viscous. The ones with wicks instead of a traditional metal coil are especially bad- they're harsh on your lungs when they work, you might as well be smoking instead of vaping, and they stop working too easily. I even have a pen that I can adjust voltage on, I never raise it past 3.2V, the lowest it goes.

I'm really disappointed in Space Ape and I-95 branded cartridges. I had another brand, Eureka, that has always been great and never failed on me yet, though.

 

I think I'm gonna try and bring some disposable vape pens home from LA Friday. Anyone have any experience getting these through TSA? From some of the research I've done, worst case scenario is I have to throw them away and I'm out the money. I suppose there's always the potential for worse, but TSA's priority is not weed and even if they find it, they'll just call local police .

 

I personally don’t, but my sister who lives in San Francisco brings them every time she visits Texas (usually about 2-3 disposable pens, some cartridges, and some edibles) puts them In her makeup bag. I’ve taken them past checkpoints with no problems yet

 

Yeah, if you're caught in LA, then it's just throw-away, but there's always the possibility of a random baggage search at your destination. I've definitely opened my luggage to a little note saying that I was part of a random search one time. I suppose that's not really a concern if it's carry on tho?

 

Yeah it’s be carry on so once I get through security i would be good haha

 

how do they even know the oils are cbd and not just vape cartridges?

 

Yeah I am flying out of LA and wanna take one back home but I’m too scared, haha.

Gonna be dry until at least tomorrow night sigh. On the flip side, bud has been making me feel super lazy when it comes to schoolwork lately so I probably shouldn't even pick any up if I'm being real with myself. I'm not being real with myself though i'm gonna pick some up tomorrow night

I’m trying to snack on some food while my gf is sleeping and my dog stirs at the slightest sound of a food package and it is so damn frustrating haha.

 

I flew back from seattle with a couple of grams but a few edibles. It was super easy and now that I did it I wouldn't be stressed about doing it at all in the future. I looked into a bit online and I feel comfortable doing it from there. Not talking anything crazy though. But yeah.

 

Anyone ever eat mushrooms while on meds? specifically SSRI.

 

no but my ex did and he didn't trip at all. I'm not sure if its related though to be honest.

 

Yeah I have actually. Can't remember which I was on at the time. The first time I did shrooms, it was amazing, zero complaints. Second time.. I had a bad trip. I would still do them again, though. It's always possible to get a bad trip, but I think if I had such a great one the first time, then I don't really have to worry about the SSRI. Idk.

 

I've heard of that happening and on the flipside heard about serotonin syndrome can happen. It would just be safe if I didn't do em but I'm trying to make a new friend and agreed to take shrooms not thinking about my meds.

 

When I was on lexapro I ate an 8th and nothing happened so I at another 8th and felt a little less than what a half-8th normally made me feel. I ended up with a dull headache for like 2 days and I felt super depressed for a week or so.

 

I've heard that is 100% a bad idea. I would not do that if I were you. Not worth the risk.
