@Blimp City Hero what day for our Browns, huh. Curious to see what free agency brings.

given LaCanfora's history with Dolphins news, I now know that that 100% did not happen

  12. Big if caveat of course, but Landry seems like a perfect fit with Gordon if he can stay on the field

I mean, they've pretty much done it. Taylor and Landry are already close to $34 million. They'll probably hold off because they have some guys getting to their first restricted year after this season too.

Yeah, those were certainly the big moves, but some of the depth moves could also show where the team is going heading into the draft. I do think this signals to their interest in Barkley, which is no revelation. Not that it took a lot, but today is a good day for the browns. And we don’t get a lot of them.

The best thing is that the Browns traded Andy Lee for Jarvis Landry.

Im a little terrified that everything will suddenly shift for the Browns and they're about to go on a 5+ year run of excellence.

Theyve really leaned into the island of misfit toys thing (Tyrod Taylor with those WRs could be really, really good), and it would all make perfect sense if they fired their dogshit coach and had a fresh start.

BUt having a 10-6 team that goes 5-11 because Hue is in charge will be the most Browns' thing possible

  17. Ok I like this trade for the Packers if only for the extra draft points - swapping for better picks in the fourth and fifth could mean the team is gonna trade up from 14

Kizer isnt terrible for a backup QB

  20. Yeah plus now there are reports that the Packers were gonna cut Randall anyways so to get a project QB and move up in the foruth and fifth round seems really good

Especially considering what the return guys like Talib and company brought back

Its actually a good trade for both teams. Browns get a guy they have salary control on and who they can coach up, and avoid the headache of locker room issues with Kizer as a maybe 3rd QB. And the swap of 4th/5ths is a wash, since GB moves down in the 4th and up in the 5th.

When you say it out loud for the Browns, they got back 2 sure starters and 1 likely starter for a guy they know wasnt the answer at QB + 2018 4th + 2019 7th. Thats the kind of stuff the Pats usually pull off

Cleveland has 2 picks in the 4th, has it been confirmed that GB is actually getting both 101 and 138? Because its just as likely they are moving down to 123 in the 4th and 101 is what got them Landry.

Id actually consider Kizer more valuable than Randall (both as a QB and as 3yrs of contract control)

  23. Dunno about the fifth round but the Packers should have the first pick in the fourth round now

  24. I think someone posted a tweet that said the Dolphins were probably getting pick 123 in the Landry deal

And Kizer has plenty of experience for what GB does without Rodgers: lose
