This song is wonderful. It finishes so strong. I need to forget about this album until I can listen to the entire thing because the wait may kill me.

It's less than a month away now.

 

I know, I guess I'm impatient. This band means a lot to me, so I am going to complain until I finally can consume it.

 

yeah holy fuck I'd found myself going off sister cities a bit over the past month but I'm back to being full unadulterated hype this song rips my ass in twain

that unexpected chord change in the second verse is extremely satisfying

 

one of the things with TGG and NCTH for me is that the albums seemed to be way more interesting in concept than they were in execution, these two new songs represent the ambition this band has always had but sometimes had trouble getting across neatly. sister cities and pyrmids are home runs

 

Not adoring the new one, bits of it I like for sure tho. Imagine it will grow on me tbf.

A side point, it feels like all the fun lines in TWY songs have gone now, everything is so serious. Obviously each record has moved more in that direction so it's not a surprise - and come to think of it, maybe there were no fun lines on NCTH either

 

Nothing really grabs me with this song, kinda forgot it was playing once I was halfway into it, hope that changes

 

I'm loving this. i've only been able to listen on my airpods at work, but to me the synth and guitars sound so good and are layered really well

 

This song is splendid. So excited for this album

 

This song is phenomenal and this is easily my early favorite for AOTY even though I've only heard 3 songs

 

Prob gonna hold off on listening to any more singles, but I’m glad people are digging it! I have a very good feeling about this record

 

I liked the songs that I've heard so far and I never really liked this band before. Props to them for changing it up.
