1:44 - 1:48 is a neat little groove that's a good microcosm of what we're seeing growth-wise here so far

Thursday and JEW are bands we grew up listening to. I think they’re always going to be a part of our writing whether we intend it or not.

 

bridge is awesome ... someone already quoted these lines, but -- "I love you / And I’m sorry / And I understand if you blame me / And I’m helpless / And you’re drowning / And I’m beating at the water here so desperately" -- extremely evocative writing, love it

the third time the chorus hits is a great Rock Song Moment as well -- i can already visualize them playing that on stage -- song is a bonafide ripper

 

Love the new song! Verses kind of give me Brand New vibes... you know, minus the shitty people.

 

dan sounds so good at the beginning with the synths. the bridge adds to what is a massive ending.

I retired from going hard at shows, but I may reconsider for this song.
