I passed on seeing pianos previously because I loathe Twi but I'll tough it out to see new stuff

I like Wait For Love so much that I'll sit through TWIBAP's hour of tremolo picking to see Pianos

 

TWIABP used to be my least favorite live band because of how terrible they were

Now they cut all the bullshit out of their set and are actually very good

the world is has been excellent every single time I've seen them. the first time was on the coheadliner with Foxing and that was also probably the best. they were a well oiled machine.

 

Seen TWIABP open a couple times and sure they did a fair amount of ambient noise, but I like atmosphere-building during live sets. Although i definitely can see how it'd be annoying if you were only going for the main band.

I don't think they should tour with emo-y bands anymore though...they seem more in-line with the post-rock crowd, or even with sprawling indie bands like Broken Social Scene tho i doubt they'll ever get that big

 

more mixed bills, I know they tend to tour with emo bands but like half the time they're emo bands that don't really sound like them at all. I am for it. cleanse my palette y'know. still sad I missed when they toured w Rozwell Kid

 

TWIABP only really tours with their friends
