I don’t like head canon that ignores actual canon and logic.

But at the same time when made, Yoda wasn’t referring to Leia either.

No need for Snoke. I don’t need to know anything else about him.

You wouldn’t be interested in a book? He’s arguably the strongest force user we’ve seen.I’d be interested considering that it’s known he’s not Sith and mentions the balance of the force. He’s been alive so long and saw the rise and fall of the Empire. His scars. I’d even be down if he showed up in the GOT guys trilogy In the Old Republic days.

I’d love to get his motivations of him and the First Order philosophy and inner workings too and how he turned Ben to the dark side (which is something I think we should get actually in some form because that’s kind of important)

I’m glad he died in TLJ because Kylos arc was more important/it’s way more interesting and don’t NEED anymore but I’d definitely be down for more of Snoke.

Yea I’m not in the camp of being upset about how Snoke has been used in the new trilogy, but I’d love any backstory they want to provide. Definitely an intriguing character.

Loved everything but the Space Whales. I’malso confused now on how the upcoming Thrawn book is fitting in because I was under the impression it was post Rebels. Overall it was a great end and I’m glad that the next series may be Ashoka/Sabine, the best characters in each of the previous shows in my opinion.

do we know what timeline Ashoka jumps back into? Is it possible it’s after return of the Jedi?

I don’t think it’s been clearly stated by anyone at LF. If it was present (in regards to the episode) her absence from the OT could be explained by the fact it took her a while to get off Malachor since it was population zero. Intriguing question though.

Edit: May be worth noting I don’t think she actually sat on Malachor for like six years ha.

While we don’t know how or when she got off Malachore, we do know when she was returned from the world between worlds.

We actually see her at the end of season 2 going through the triangle shaped door which we see her looking at as she returns in s4. She was returned only briefly after he disappearance.

Damn, just watched it. Overall, it was a great ending to a great show and one of my favorite pieces of Star Wars canon.
I 100% teared up when Ahsoka showed up at the end. So good. I'm excited for what comes next with her and Sabine.

As one of the few who loves the original space whales episode, it was cool to see them back. I had a feeling they would too, Filoni has been bringing in a lot of callbacks at the end here (freaking puffer pigs made it back, had to expect space whales too!). Though I have to admit, when they showed up, my reaction was "fucking space whales? Ahh, fuck it. Space whales! Ezra's big thing throughout the show was his connection to animals, so it didn't feel out of place.

I also liked how the plot was sort of a bizarro version of Return of the Jedi. In ROTJ, the empire leads the rebels into a trap that is intended to get rid of them once and for all. This time the rebels and leading the empire into a trap to get rid of them once and for all. In ROTJ, the rebels are trying to disable a shield. In this, they are trying to enable a shield. Then there's the throne room parallels with Ezra & Palpatine. That's fairly similar, but I guess you could say in ROTJ he's manipulating a family to fight against one another and in this, he's manipulating them to reunite.

Also, unleashing the wolves was sweet. I legit thought we were gonna see two wolves rip a stormtrooper in half.on a Disney XD show.

Yea when one wolf had a troopers torso and another had its leg I was like oh shit no way! Then the one just ended up throwing tossing him and was bummed lol

Still it was pretty brutal and such a fun end battle to that first episode. Despite being iffy on the wolves for most of the season i ended up liking their role.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed the Hera pulling off the Falcon move from the Solo trailer.

My guess on the logic behind Ezra & Thrawn surviving:

The space whales are able to survive in a vacuum environment, so maybe when they go into hyperspace they have some sort of force field around them? Or maybe their tentacles sealed up the broken glass? I dunno.

I love this so much. While I agree the white male thing is going to be pointed out and rightfully so, Rian Johnson, GoT guys, and Favreau have proven themselves to be great creators and they are in charge of a combined two movies series (at least 5 movies) and a live action series. Thats a lot of Star Wars and theres a lot of potential going forward. All are great decisions by Kennedy and Lucasfilm.

What’s the count now, like, 13 announced Star Wars movies/TV shows, and like, 16 white guys hired to helm them all?

Forgot about Daldry’s name coming up in Obi Wan rumors. If you expand to writers it gets even more white and male with Kasdan and the Rogue One team. Bradford Young on Solo is the only behind the camera person of color I can think of off the top of my head.
