So the bsides are worth it? I loved about half of the last album but was Luke warm about the rest...

It’s good in a stand alone sense. Different vibe than the album, more programmed sounds I’d say. I think The sound, Bad Desire, Heavy Metals, Number One Hit, and maybe a few others are better than songs on the Tour Pin, but California, God Fon’t Talk and some others are better than some tracks on White Noise. As a whole, I’m glad he didn’t mix and match and that we have all these songs.

I’ll give it a listen then. Heavy metals is one of my fav songs from last year

Good but different. Nothing grabs you as quickly because it had a more chill feel, so give it a few listens.

Blossom is a top 5 song for me. Didn't realize it was underrated. Never hear anyone talk bout Silver Bracelet though

I would love to hear these b sides as well!

Was fumbling through YouTube and found a video of a new song Noah's been playing on his most recent tour called "Kamikaze Love" (specifically in Chicago). Curiosity got the best of me and I had to listen. Sooooo good

Does anyone know how long Noah's solo sets usually are?
Doors open at 20, and I need to catch a train at 22.25, or else I'll have to wait until 4 in the morning.

He usually plays 15-18 songs and doesn't really talk much. Take that for what it's worth. It'll probably a little less than two hours.

He played like 20 songs in Waco, so yeah, you'll be there for a while

Blossom is amazing. I also love Silver Bracelet, one of my favorite guitar parts to play of all time.

Seeing him tonight here in Norway! It's going to be interesting to see what kind of crowd he draws over here. He's playing at a 400-cap place, but there'll probably be 100-200 people there.

Hands down one of the best shows I've ever been to. Amazing to see one guy with a guitar command the room in such a way with pure skill and emotion. No one talked, no one checked their Facebook, no one was filming. Everyone was just concentrating on him - I haven't seen that in a concert in many years. I knew he was good, but holy shit this was next level good.

Simply incredible. I'd fork over $20 for a covers album in a second.

I was thinking the same thing. He played a wonderful Joni Mitchell cover at the gig I attended.

Haha I believe it. When I saw him last fall in Philly, this INCREDIBLY annoying woman kept drunkenly shouting in a small, relatively empty room for him to play Joni. Word must have spread.

He's touring again this fall. Is there a harder working musician? seriously

I think that's just called a "working musician".

I’ve always found Kevin Devine to fit that bill. Always writing music, multiple projects, full band or solo tours, lots of interviews, radio, and so on. He was even his own mercy guy on his last tour.

I think Noah fits all those descriptions as well. I think when it’s ‘your name’ you play under you have to work harder and stay motivated.

Also, Noah seems to have a bunch of new songs. Maybe it won’t be a long wait before a new album?

All of his "new songs" he's been playing live were unofficially released as b-sides. Unless there's some new ones I don't know about.
