Forgive these words, but I haven't heard much from Cocteau Twins. That Lorelei song is really really good

 

Treasure and Heaven are two fucking amazing records

 

Yeah I've heard a song or two off Heaven, but that's about it. Iono why I thought they only released a couple albums, but I see they have a pretty big discography.

yall ever hear of Mint Julep? it's the dude from the ambient project Helios and his wife making dream pop. been a big fan for a couple years, figured i should share.

this record is awesome:

really like the lo-fi sound - he records everything by himself in his room which is insane

to provide more color: think lo-fi shoegaze with alt.rock and dream pop elements thrown in... kind of like a noisier lo-fi Nothing with a bit of dream pop

 

Just listened to Machine Gun by Slowdive for the first time in like a year and i'm blown away by how good it is.

 

I saw this on pitchfork. I heard the song and thought it was cool. Intending to check this out
