They played a 1000+ cap room last November in my city. Real Friends played a 470 venue and had a terrible turn out that same month.

Not that it matters but Issues played the 470 venue back in 2014 and sold it out.

Anyways I think they'll still be fine. Michael sucked on Headspace and didn't have much to do. Better to kick him out than just have his bland cleans on LP3

Sharptooth is pretty generic imo but they do a really good live show. They are tight as fuck live. Really preachy, which is annoying because they are pretty entry level feminism but the scene needs that sometimes.

MIW doesn't have much pop punk influence. I've seen them multiple times and they are pretty good live but their newer (well since 2012) releases have lost me and they've gotten more gothic and theatrical which I hate.

Agreed about Sharptooth. So good live but the preachy attitude in between every song got a little old at the show. And also agreed about MIW. I don’t follow them a whole lot but the album that had Devil’s Night sand Black Demask was the last one I cared for from them

Laughable lyrics aside Graveyard Shift is pretty sweet imo, and I was someone who liked them most with Creatures too

I really like Eternally Yours off MIW's new album.

But that's just a band I grew out of. I thought Creatures had some cool atmosphere with the synths (remember everyone was ripping off Attack Attack back in 2010 and used synths for party melodies). Looking back, it's pretty by the numbers metalcore and had they not bring in more industrial influence on Infamous (the one you like) they would have not made it big.

Also if anyone wants to listen to their album Infamous, make sure you listen to the deluxe version. It has re-recorded drums and all the songs are remastered and remixed. It all sounds much better.

Not a fan of that album at all but it's arguably their best album since Creatures.

I'm actually really excited to hopefully see MIW this summer. I wanted to watch them in 2016, but they played the same time as The Maine. I really appreciate the theatrical aspect of their show and they seem really into their image/style of music, which is cool.

The theatrical stuff is stripped down a bit for festival sets but it's still there.

I saw them play the Ernie Ball Stage back in 2011. Crazy to see them blow up as much as they did.

They busted ass for years too to get to where they are now. They've been playing Warped Tour Battle of the Bands-type stages as early as 2007.

I remember seeing them at Warped in 2014 which was really fun but then I saw them headlining at a club the next spring, and their stage set up and theatrics were really cool! Candles everywhere and it was just kinda creepy but really fun. I can’t wait to see them this summer again, it’s been a while!

Going to see them Friday in Grand Rapids, second time on this tour. Their show is just amazing. Can't wait to see them at Warped twice as well.

Graveyard Shift is my second favorite Motionless In White album with Creatures being my first. Not a big fan of Infamous then they kind of got me back with Recarniate but then with Graveyard made me a big fan again

I'm leaning towards Ventura from what has been said now.

Well we will be in Cali at the time just as a holiday. We are thinking Ventura because it also has TBS which is a big draw for me (Even though I'll have seen them a month before here in the UK). It also seems a more normal Warped Tour experience which is what I really want.

Looking forward to seeing any of The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Trash Boat, All Time Low, Wage War, Knuckle Puck, State Champs, Real Friends and Grayscale.

Just saw ETID at a one off show at the Webster Underground in Hartford. It’s like a 200 cap venue. And it was fucking insane. I even got punched(accidentally) by Jordan in the face. The intensity of the crowds is unparalleled at ETID shows.

Also Motionless is in my top five favorite bands. Love them. I wasn’t too keen on Reincarnate, to me it felt “sort” in a way. Graveyard Shift is in my top albums of the 2017. Their live show is also extremely well even at festival sets. Chris honestly has one of the strongest voices in metalcore. Sounds very much like he does on record and doesn’t struggle at all during a set.

i don't actively like miw but i respect that they've really seen their image to this end and got big, i remember when they were touring with like jamies elsewhere and sky eats airplane back in the day and the fact they got their show to this level is cool.

"i bet that i fucked more dead girls than you" is definitely one of the worst lyrics of all time

I’m just glad they don’t acknowledge that period or those songs any more. In the words of It’s Always Sunny “lets just move past it.”

Yep. Goth shit's lame. Creatures and When Love Met Destruction were pretty cool back in 2011 but probably aged poorly

I feel really out of touch with Pop Punk, I'm not familiar with any of these bands beyond FYS & RF

State Champs seem really dope though. But what's with all the lame pop punk names? haha

    So assuming that this weekend...

Sounds like I may run into you at the Ventura date then. If you want any suggestions about things to go check out around Ventura send me a DM. Since I grew up around there and still have family in the area I can give you some ideas if you want to explore what's around it.

Wage War puts on a hell of a show. I'd say The Amity Affliction and Motionless In White as well
