That’s the set they played for the VIP ticketholders in November! I almost cried during HoL just bc I was so ecstatic that they played it.

Working on Saturday sucks but jamming Juturna on the commute has got me in the best mood right now

 

Extremely excited to see them for the first night of the tour in Providence, RI. I've seen them countless times but I actually haven't seen them since the Juturna anniversary tour. I was super bummed to miss the OLG tour (I didn't really lose any sleep over AFI and I've been lukewarm on Thrice over the years at best) but in a way missing about 3 touring cycles over the past couple of years from these guys has really ramped up my anticipation for this Amulet tour. The Amulet exceeded my expectations of this band far and away and I cannot wait to hear some of these songs live.

Also, this will be my first time doing the VIP actually. Does anyone know what to expect as far as what time it starts and all that? I'm just assuming I'll be notified as it gets closer to the date.

 

You’ll want to plan on getting to the venue at least an hour before doors open for VIP, but yeah, you’ll get an email with the specific time a week or two before the show. VIP is totally worth it!

Hell yeah, the other song with the sweetest groove of all time. Descensus has a lot of Mandala-esque guitars, lotta squeaks and really out there sounds.

No idea if it’s going back up, I would assume so though. But yeah it was very new

 

This is probably the tightest Steve Clifford has sounded. The drumming is infectious on this album.

 

I watched the min doc last night.. looked new. At the end they played House of Leaves.
