Not sure why it’s taken me so long to dive into Sleeping Dogs, but it has me totally immersed. Really enjoying it so far.

Sales always annoy me when I bug games day one then realise I could wait and get them half price months later. AC:O was worth it though. Totally worth it.

 

me and two of my co-workers had a talk today about why we are all so bad at completing our backlog.

mine was because smite and fortnite.

another was because he just wants to play monster hunter.

the final one was because he just likes playing Halo and Overwatch.

 

I spent some time in expedition figuring out what changed in Hunting Horn and oh man this is going to be incredibly fun. You mean I can play 3 songs in 1 go, and then encore them?!

I am in love with the game, especially the QoL stuff and the new seamless environment. Definitely on its way to being the best Monster Hunter if this keeps up.

Monster Hunter can be a completely single player experience, although it is built on the loot grind all the same. I agree, though - I’ve been a happier gamer since focusing more on finite experiences. I get too caught up in the loops of these constantly updated multiplayer games and find myself playing them more out of obligation/habit than because I want to play them. I’m also not a competitive person.

1 achievement away from 100% in Refunct and that's a speed run in under 4 min. Got my time down to 4:53 so still have to shave a minute off but I fell a few times and took some shitty routes so should be and to get it eventually.
