Saw this a couple nights ago. The scene where you could hear the girl's screams whenever the bear skull creature opened it's mouth was super creepy.

i was too in awe to really be scared or creeped out. what a wonderful scene

 

Same here, the only scene that was hard for me to watch was the first tape they found of Kane's expedition.

 

i wasn't scared of it while it was happening, the terror of this movie kind of sets in once you're done with it and have time to reflect on what you just watched. like i was driving home from the theater thinking about it and just said out loud "holy shit."

 

i'm so glad my fiance has the chrome extension that we can use to watch UK netflix so i can watch this again in a week.

 

Yeah everything else didnt scare me, but I actually had to look away during the tape. Oof. I cant stand that shit.

 

I think the whole bear thing is just such a genius concept. Like, from an evolutionary standpoint, that is such a fucking cool way to manipulate your prey.

 

Kind of wish this would have been scarier and more disturbing

 

is it not coming out on american netflix too?

Saw this with my dad last night. He had read the book and was a bit disappointed by the changes they made. I thought it was good but after hearing about the book, I think I'd like that a ton more.

That intestine scene was fucked though.

 

Finally got to see it. Fucking loved this.

 

This was awesome.

 

As someone who loves the book... i loved the movie just as much as the book.

So I saw this on Saturday only knowing that it was a science fiction movie with Natialie Portman in it. Holy shit, was it good. That entire musical sequence in the lighthouse was amazing.

 

Yeah, this is fucking excellent. The bear scene. The lighthouse. just wow.

Excited to pick up the book

 

Just a friendly heads up, the book and the movie are quite different. Do not go into the book thinking you are going to get answers about some of the stuff featured in the movie.
