Would anyone like a Bleed American download? I'm sure everyone here has it in some way, but if you need the files again or you'd like to gift it to someone you can take this one!

Interesting tidbit in the context of the Radiohead/Lana Del Rey litigation. While looking through the ACE Repertory it would appear that Jim, Rick, Tom and Zach have writers credits to the Kelly Clarkson tune, Heartbeat Song.
    ACE Repertory

I know they pointed our the similarities between it and The Middle when it was released, so it was interesting to see their names listed.

Are these dudes in the studio again? Saw some photos somewhere and that’s what it looked like. I sure hope so.

Integrity Blues is still holding up for me. It worked it’s way to my number 3 spot. Futures and CTL being number 1 and 2.

idk they've been on a pretty consistent three year album cycle schedule since bleed american

IIRC they've been in the studio off and on again since late November and JMJ has visited one or two times. Maybe demoing/getting a head start on next year's album? I could see them making an EP to support the shows they have this Summer, though.

A new EP would be so great.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be too shocked if they broke their three year cycle and did a two year one this time. Integrity Blues seemed to bring a lot of momentum back to the band, and it would make sense to build on that with more new music sooner. Of course no part of me expects new music from them until 2019. But it would also make sense if they did release this year.

I can see that too. They toured the shit out of IB. Keep riding the wave!

It's crazy they basically haven't taken a break since IB. Especially given their tenure as a band/their age/families/everything else. They seem so happy too. Like, to come out every single night and play the shit out of The Middle is no small feat. They give me life.

I think Invented is finally growing on me. Most of it clicked with me today and made me wanna go back to it a few more times. It’s an album I’ve always wanted to like. Every year since it came out I will give it a listen in hopes something would click. I can now say that I legitimately like 9 songs on it. 10 if you wanna count the Precision Auto cover.

Higher Devotion and Movielike are my top 2.

    Interesting album.

So they're on a festival I'm going to this summer and I'm realizing the only song I know is The Middle. Are Bleed American and Integrity Blues the best places to start on their discography for a festival set?

Add in Futures and you’ll probably recognize the majority of the set.

@sophos34 I don’t know if I feel more connected to you because of our shared Gerbil-fatherhood, or because you’re the only other person I’ve seen who has accepted the fact that Heart is Hard to Find is the best Jimmy Eat World song... But bless you for both.

Heart Is Hard To Find is an incredible start to that album

Carry You might be my favorite JEW song. If You Dont Dont, Fireworks, Pretty Grids, and Just Tonight round out my 5 I think.
