Haven’t been in this thread for a bit but this 10000%, I’ve been listening to this and Ixora a lot this week and I can’t decide which one I like more and Ixora is my favorite album ever.

Ixora resonated with me the same way this album does. The more I listen an analyze the lyrics, the more I think that WFL might do this even more so. Dry Spells is the perfect song for me lyrically being tht I just had a vasectomy (haha).

 

Haha, yep. Senses Fail would be my other quintessential example.

because the UK likes math rock/post rock much more than the US

also there is dunk! festival in the northeast (last year's lineup)

this is def my aoty right now. it feels leaps and bounds ahead of KY. kyle's vocal melodys are just next level throughout.

 

Yea, I love a lot of stuff today but I think this is still on top for the year so far. For me next big challenge for this record will be April 6th.

 

I just put two and two together today that both Underoath and TWY records are coming out on the same day. Talk about stacked.

Does anyone utilize the whole drum kit better than David? He’s using all his tools in every song and it really makes for some creative parts
