Yeah, I didn't enjoy either of those as much as their previous albums, but there were still a couple good songs on them. All You Did Was Save My Life and Paper Moon on Burn Burn were two tracks that I think stack up pretty well with the rest of their material.

I thought it was very good! I wish it was a couple tracks longer, but it was certainly a return to form. Overall, I definitely liked it better than their last two (and possibly three) albums.

I had already heard the 4 tracks that were released last year and then I had the good fortune to see 1 of the other tracks (Ballad of a Poet) when I saw them in concert last October. The other 4 tracks that I hadn't heard yet though were really enjoyable!

Here's what they played when I saw them if you're curious: Our Lady Peace Setlist at House of Blues, Cleveland

It was promoted as their Clumsy tour and I had read that they were going to be playing it in its entirety, but that didn't turn out to be the case. Still a really enjoyable show though!

Wow! They closed with Starseed? That song is one of my favorite's by them. Most people don't even think of Naveed because they got so big with Clumsy.

I've only seen them twice (once in 2002 and then last year) but they closed with Starseed both times.

I have seen them three times, and I think the first time they closed with Starseed and then the other two times it was Somewhere Out There.

Nice review, I actually listened to this on my drive home from work after our chat earlier & I liked it.

As someone who wasn’t particularly familiar with the band outside the odd song I wasn’t wow’d by it but I did enjoy what I heard so I’ll have to check out some more of their stuff (and give this one a few more listens).

It didn’t hit me on the first listen so give it a couple spins. It’s short enough!

@duritzfan13 and I are trading albums.

He will have: Dave Hause - Bury Me in Philly
I will have: Arkells - High Noon

Spiritual Machines is Our Lady Peace's best album and easily one of the best albums of its era.

I always wrote off Out Lady Peace as the one hit wonder who sang Somewhere Out There. I may have to check them out with all this praise, esp since this thread is on point about it's Metallica, Chevelle and Sevendust haha.

    I would strongly recommend so.

Happiness Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch is also amazing. And Clumsy is very good too. But nothing can match Machines top-to-bottom.

I had With You come on after the Lucero album I’m doing this week (thanks Spotify) and I liked it so much I ended up checking out that whole Dave Hause album, it was a very good listen.
