fuck off im not hearing that. losing to two playoff teams by one possession is not fucking pathetic. the team is playing very well and coming back from being down 20 shows this team can be in any game. gimme a fucking break.

Tonight’s game started pathetic - I’ll give them some credit for almost coming back but I’m not encouraged at all by this group

 

Once they got the game down to a single digits it’s like they forget how to play offense and they don’t screen and they just play hero ball

 

i guess basketball is a pathetic sport than considering teams go down by 10-15 and comeback pretty much every night. i guess cleveland is the most pathetic team in the league and lebron is pathetic.

Philly waiving Booker to make room for Ilyasova after trading a decent second round pick (and Okafor) for Booker in December is pretty darn funny.

And if I’m an Atlanta fan, I’m wondering why the heck we didn’t offer Iyasova (or Belineli for that matter) for Okafor and that second in December.

A lot gm’s really misread the market this trade deadline.

 

The Sixers have too many 2nds to use, I'm not too bummed about it. They essentially traded all that for Ilyasova, who fits the team better anyway

I'd be more mad if the Sixers stubbornly held onto Booker to prove the trade wasn't a miscalculation, and damaged the future by cutting Bayless or Holmes or TLC

 

Cutting Booker was absolutely the right thing to do right now. But I’d be a little peeved at losing two assets for a guy you ended up cutting in like 3 months. Especially because you didn’t really NEED to make that trade at that time. It’s just something I’d keep in mind when evaluating my faith in the FO going forward.

You could sell those second rounders for cash, ala the Bulls! Sweet, sweet cash.

But more than the Sixers, I think it’s Hawks fans who have to be asking their FO some hard questions. They had two guys the Sixers obviously coveted and nothing to show for it.
