So we definitely heard Maz in the bridge place and im pretty sure we heard Rey too. Like. What?! Only thing is I was pretty damn sure she said “I believe” which is something I don’t think we’ve heard her say in the movies. Maybe forces of destiny? Idk but it definitely sounded like her.

Also the mortis stuff was perfection. The moving mural. The hand symbols. All of it. The tie in to the worlds. It was a perfect visual and conceptual way to display how the force connects all worlds throughout all of time.

On top of that it the time travel aspect made so much sense which isn’t easy.

Obviously Ezra is going to do something that doesn’t allow palpatine to use the power of the bridge
but all I know is next week is three episodes and the end of this show and these characters and despite how often I’m disappointed and underwhelmed with this show, I’ve come to love it and it’s characters and going to be super sad when it’s over.

    ELI5:

is Ashoka actually alive now but still trapped in that temple ? Or is she still in the afterlife ?

Yes so she’s alive (saving her made him want to save Kanan too) and I’m pretty sure she went through the portal back to that same moment with vader just at a different place hence why we see her walking at the end of the episode with Vader. So she’s been doing other things since then maybe. He tells her to find him so she’ll show up at the end.

That's what I heard Rey say as well. Maybe it came from a deleted Last Jedi scene? I can't remember her saying it on screen either.

Maybe it’s from the future and Filoni is writing lines to episode 9?!?!?!?? Lol

But for real Im pretty sure it could have been Filoni taking the line from TLJ deleted scene (which he didn’t know would be one) where rey says she believes in Lukes legend.

I would be fully onboard if episode IX dipped its toes in some of this "weirdness" as a way to close the story out, though I highly doubt it will.

    Maybe Rian's trilogy.

Idk but I want Dave to start doing live action stuff. I get you can’t hand him a big movie when’s he’s never directed a movie, but have as a producer or a writer or give him live action episodes. He’s proved with both series how creative his vision is.

Also I’m with harloff from collider giving Claudia gray writing work for these movies.

I wonder if this will still tie into Rogue One. I could see the last shot being Hera in the Ghost jumping to lightspeed towards Scarif.

Dave Filoni has all but said that it won't tie into Rogue One.

Ahh, I must have missed that. I just remember him talking about how it could be cool to see the battle of Scarif from the Ghost crew's perspective. I much prefer the direction these last few episodes have taken anyway.

That could definitely be a lie. He wouldn’t have given away the end to his show. Def wouldn’t mind but I’d rather take the mystical and fantasy approach. Excited either way

I remember him making comments about showing Rogue One from the Ghost crew's perspective, but ever since Season 4 has started I've seen him say they actually aren't going to do that. Can't find any of the ones I'm thinking of but I did find this: Dave Filoni Squashes Seeing ‘Rogue One’ Scarif Battle In 'Star Wars Rebels' - Jedi News - Broadcasting Star Wars News Across The Galaxy!

Really loved last night’s episodes. I feel like this show is going out on a high note, which is great. Can’t wait to see where they take the final three episodes.

Ugh Force please don’t let that sweetheart of a soul have cancer.

Im learning to just ignore toxic fandom and not let their anger infect me, but when you see stuff like this it’s really hard.

Imagine that being your life, bitching and moaning about how a fictional story has betrayed you. I don't understand this world sometimes.

Also, I really hope Andi is okay.
