I wish Darkest Hour would remaster some of their old records. Undoing Ruin is such an amazing album, but it sounds like it was recorded in a dish washer.

 

Studies have suggested that we often put off projects and work for later dates because we see the ensuing consequences as happening to another person, i.e., your future self. I believe this because Friday Dominick definitely said fuck you to me when he opted to not do his sales reports.

 

I believe that because I haven't stated a paper in college yet more than 4 days before its due

 

I also believe that as I sit here on Youtube and this site with 2 projects and 3 finals in the next 2 days

 

Is there a term or study for when you're always planning for your future self and then forget to do your current self right? Because I suffer from that one. I completed a paper in college once five weeks before it was due.

 

I work best during crunchtime which is good because I'm a verrrrrrry big procrastinator.

 

I'm starting my paper on cognitive dissonance today and it's due tomorrow. Gotta read the first four chapters of this book, watch a video about how people weren't vaccinating their children because they thought it'd lead to autism, and then type a four page paper APA style about the video and using the book as a source.

Melt me down.

 

The lipsyncing is so bad and they are so creepy. I'm not entirely sure what made me look this song up lol

 

Almost exclusively start on my papers the day before unless it's a really lengthy assignment.

yeah the one time i started it that late was a 12 page research paper

 

I started a paper 6 hours before it was due.


I didn't finish it and received a zero

 

I actually drink my Starbucks black. But I only get their dark roasts. Pikes is shit.

 

writing essays is extremely my shit

 

I find I present my points in too concise a manner when writing them down. I find it tough to hit arbitrary word counts.

 

I was pretty good at starting my paper at least a few weeks ahead of time and doing it little by little until it was due.

I could work under pressure in crunch time and bang one out in one night, but I'd just rather not. I hate feeling that kind of stress.

 

Granted I did CompSci so...

 

I'm super good at essays haven't gotten a bad grade on an essay. Also very good at telling how good my essay is.

 

i have often written three radically different versions of essays in the span of one night, i end up pivoting or changing my mind halfway through and just slash and burn it or restructure it entirely

 

I love editing others' works, but find myself bored when writing. I'm quite good at it, I just don't have the patience. When it comes to helping other people, it's easier for me to commit.

A little late, but I still use my Keurig but with the pod that you can fill on your own so I can put in whatever coffee I want

 

yeah if i dont do this and try to push through on a point i dont really agree with but need to touch on to make it make sense or pad the word count it shows. im also pretty wordy anyway and could probably use an editor most days.
