I don’t know how to explain this, but I just now realized your name is Carmen San Diego. I mean, I already knew that. But it just now made sense to me lol

Maybe. I may ask if she would like to text sometime in one or two weeks but I’m not going to ask about studying again. Right now there isn’t any awkwardness when we talk and I don’t want to seem pushy or obvious.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

In fairness, as failures go, it was quite a nice one. Despite being uninterested, she seemed quite flattered and having recently gone through a breakup, she said she quite enjoyed the confidence boost. She also took a guess at my age and guessed 26, which was nice.

I didn't realise she was only 22 (I thought a little older), so getting knocked back doesn't feel too bad anyway.

Eventually I'll hit on the right person!

    It rocks

But I also irrationally stress about things in it because I have a hard time believing that it’s actually this great lol

Just got out of a situation with my girl and how a former friend got involved and totally overstepped his boundaries to say the very least, thinking I was well passed that and won't see it again. Damn sure not with the friends I got now.

This past week though me and my girl had some issues we had to sort through but my friend has been around NON STOP and at first I thought I was getting paranoid about his intention cus i had been through that same shit somewhat recently and blamed my girl a lil for the bad equity in my head... However the last few days he's not only not taken cues when I was being nice and tryna get him to leave after hanging out, he's ASKED HER WHY I DONT JUST TELL HIM (despite both alluding to in a casual "okay you dont gotta go home but you gotta get outta here" way and as well as telling him we need time to sort through our shit)
Oh, I don't know... maybe cus I'm being nice? And I think "Alright, think it's time for us to get some rest," sounds better than "Hey man time to get outta here." On top of asking me would I go after a friends girl if I knew I was a better match and perhaps the one that most got me looking at him odd.... He told her who I was talking to when we were apart (girl who's MY FRIEND of some years but all 3 of us are friendly), nothing happened, came of it - I didn't even get to the point of telling the girl I was feeling her, and we're still all cool... why you tryna bring drama between all that? Especially since all sides BEEN RESPECTED.

"I'm a real ass dude" yeah? I don't know many real friends who do that sorta shit and I don't fuck with that shit. I cannot stand fake shit and faker people, I feel like I'm doomed to always be around it though.

I don't understand how many people (coworkers in this case) end up asking "where do you live?" In conversations.

And then when you answer vaguely ("on the north side") it's followed up with "where?" Or "by what?"

You aren't coming over motherfucker. you're just being weirdly polite / conversational but it's fucking weird.

This has happened to me personally several dozen times in my life and I've probably overheard it happening another couple hundred. It's such a weird thing to do that leads to no real conversation. At most you get "I know that area / I used to live around there" and who gives a shit?
