They're probably going to announce an arena tour for the fall. The whole intimate shows thing sucks, though.

 

Why?

 

Eh. Not a big fan of it myself. Probably because I can never get tickets. Ha.

 

I literally couldn't give less of a shit about 5sos but if they sounded like Maroon 5 from the early 00's that would be a good thing
Them sounding like current Maroon 5 is about what I'd expect from the song, though

 

Okay but there are some jams on that first 5SOS album

 

Those are all underplays

I’m just hoping this is a tour.

 

I'm now on the Presale Verified Fan list for the 5SOS tour (I'm a casual fan, but I can't pass up the chance to see them in such a small venue) but my only complaint is that tickets go on sale at 10AM on a Friday

Why do venues do this? I'll be in school, most people will either be at work or commuting, so the only people who'd get a chance at tickets are scalpers who make money of this stuff, or teenage fangirls who can force their parents to buy them immediately.

Why don't venues put them up at a normal time like 8 PM (or even midnight) when most people are home?

Because no one works at night, and no news stories about a presale will go live at night. Best way to get presale codes is just following venue, radio station and band newsletters (Varsity, First Ave, Myth, etc). If you can’t get a code emailed to you, just search “<bandname> Presale” on twitter once it votes live.

I’m really curious of 5SOS picked Varisty over First Avenue. Varisty is a little smaller, but First Ave is iconic

Show starts at 11, the night is still young. I thought Knocked Loose playing at a 250 cap venue in Portland sounded dangerous, but this sounds like a death sentence. Jealous of anyone that goes to this.

 

Or you could be a caregiver with flexible hours and a lot of downtime at work.

Just sayin’.

 

isn't this what fall out boy did when they got back together? I remember I saw em at a 2,500 cap in montreal when they played an arena a few years prior. then they got all the hype back and went back to arenas.

 

Yep they actually played like 400 cap clubs for the first 4 shows

 

Get a desk job, and it'll give you easy access since you'll be at your computer all day. Side effects include hating your life and questioning humanity often enough to the point it becomes unhealthy so tread lightly. But it may get you Crazy Ex-GF live-show tickets in the minute before they sell out.

Or you can just do it while you take a shit like Matt suggested.

It's the wife's favorite show, and the tickets went on sale two days before her birthday. She was stoked for her birthday present. I've started watching the show with her to get ready for the show, and I enjoy it a lot 5 episodes in.

The music's fun, and I'm actually pretty excited for the show.
