the last two are VERY scream heavy. yea I guess I don't talk about them much bc they havnt been that active, but I legitimately hold 4 of their albums in really high regard.

haha yupp People here probably don't know how much i love emery too bc its just not a common band for a lot of people in this community.

Not to mention they admitted they knew about the reunification while filming Tired Violence. That left a bit of a bad taste too.

Despite all that, I don’t care, I can’t believe new music is almost here.

 

Dude I’ve hung out with Emery before. My friend used to be in a band here and they opened for Emery in Salt Lake and i was part of their “crew” hah i love those guys. They were so cool to hang around

 

I did the same thing with GJ before Material Control came out.

Emery are easily some of the best guys in the scene. Few bands as accessible.

 

Yeah this is what was really sketchy about it. The finality of that felt so huge. And it made it really feel like a money grab to find out they knew they were gonna reunite in some form

I take solace in knowing despite reunification it has been 8 years between albums...that’s fair haha
