The guitar tones took me right out of renacer. Love the tones on this one.

I am happy for SF. I get the sense that the conversation around this album is the biggest they've had in a long time.

Seen it brought up quite a few times in Brand New, Alkaline Trio and ETID groups I'm in on FB. Seeing a lot of people talk about it, makes me so happy

Wasn't that long ago, maybe 6 or 7 years ago, when alot of people on AP.net still didn't take kindly to Buddy. How times have changed.

I get massive Taking Back Sunday vibes from the "i won't lie, i won't lie, i won't lie" parts in "You Get so Alone..."

It's funny, the album is so catchy that I forget how dark the lyrical content is. I was thinking about putting this on in the car with my girlfriend but caught myself lol. She likes Senses Fail but I know she's not going to want to listen to a whole album about his wife dying

57 on Billboard. A lot better than the last two did at 84 and 109.

I just came across this album and had never listened to Senses Fail before (just never gave them a chance I guess) and I've listened to this at least 10x already.

Double Cross is so great because often think society tells me I shouldn't listen to "this type" of music at 35. This song kind of eradicates that and makes me realize I'm not going to stop listening to "this type" of music bc it's my passion.

The themes of child birth are very personal because I had a daughter two years ago and that shit is terrifying. Also raising a child can be terrifying. So those songs addressing this area really resonate.

The other songs touch on some stuff that I feel TWY touched on in NCTH and it's done just as well here.

The last song is a great closer and I'm sucker for a great closer. Though I do find myself listening to Clarity after hearing that song. It's a dead ringer for a Jimmy Eat Worls song.

Glad I stumbled on this album. Does any of their other stuff have lyrical content as good as this one?

Lyrically I’d say no, this is their best lyrically

Let It Enfold You was very cliche, impersonal at times, and bad many times lyrically. From Still Searching on Buddy has pretty much always been solid and very honest in his writing. I think I'd say Renacer is probably overall his best, but this new one is the most personal and that counts for a lot. Hard for me to pick a favorite between Still Searching, Renacer and this one. Everything is really worth checking out though. I still love Let It Enfold You musically.

Life Is Not A Waiting Room and Renacer are good on the lyrics end of the spectrum
