YAY I LOVE IT

 

Serious question up for debate / conversation because I really like the band, but I'm not as huge of a fan as you all are. With that being said and putting "entitled fan culture" aside - at what point do fans - but mainly super fans who are on the edge of their seat with every move this band makes start to feel manipulated / teased / frustrated by what's going on. It just seems like they've been toying for years now and I know that's what they do and it's part of being a BN fan, but at what point does the frustration and desire for an album (in conjunction with teasing) get to a breaking point?

 

My thoughts exactly, assuming they will have them ready for the Canadian dates. I like the song but not enough to spend $30 just to own it,

 

I prefer Mene to this, but I do bloody love this. Really do want it on the album, or at least as a vinyl single or something. On the album only if it doesn't come at the expense of another song though.

 

It's crazy how I and probably tons of other people had the exact same experience and forums like this are the only way we can find each other.

I'm not die-hard but I do like them a lot. With that being said, I think that moment just hit for me.

 

I love how Brand New can go from writing an album like Daisy to throwing together a really fun, catchy song like this. It's that diversity in their catalog that makes BN such a fun band. They certainly keep things exciting. I'm guessing people who aren't fans of BNs poppier side aren't too thrilled, but idc because I love it.

this song and "Mene" are two of their most addicting songs

 

Guitar and tone of the song is dope, not a fan of the vocals on first listen. I really am not liking the twang affectation he has put on since Daisy

The Bass is incredible in this song. Very... happy sounding, for lack of a better word. Seems like the've gone off another angle from Daisy, and Mene for that matter.

 

I dig the lyrics but idk its kinda plain sonically. Much prefer the style of Mene from them.

 

Mother fuck.. I knew I'd miss this getting released. I'm not even gonna be able to hear it for hours.

 

Solid song. I'm not particularly impressed, but that chorus is catchy.

 

I like this song more than anything they've released since Deja. lol

 

I dig it more than Mene even though I really like that song as well. I wonder what is next. Since Mene I am a lot more cautiously optimistic. Regardless looking forward to seeing them perform it live. Catchy and poppy and I don't mind that at all.
