Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Ugh that’s a terrible tour. Honestly bummed that Coheed is on that.

I'll totally hit that up if it's convenient. Very interested to see how people react for TSSF.

Coheed isn’t a normal ass rock band though but ok

It’s gonna be so funny when these bands are touring 20 years from now. It’ll be like seeing Styx

I'm excited for that, actually. When I'm like fifty five and going to see the thirty year anniversary tour of The Upsides, and my kids are making so much fucking fun of me.

Hearing Green Day on the classic rock radio station was weird

    Where are you seeing dates?

There's one date on Coheed's website at a 6,000 seat venue in Texas.

The only venue in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area even close to 6,000 cap is the Roy Wilkins which is 5,000 cap. Maybe the new venue, The Armory, but that has an adjustible capacity (anywhere fro 3,000 to 9,500)

Everything else is either bigger than the Xcel (18,000) or smaller than the Myth (3,100)

Could they put the MN date in a B-Market? That seems to be the trend for a lot of Mainstream/Hard rock bands (Modest Mouse in Mankato, Halestorm in Bemidji, Avenged Sevenfold in Duluth)

That Coheed/TBS tour really isn't weird or surprising. They're both from the same state, came out of the same era, played similar shows in their early days. TSSF is an odd opener, but the headlining pair makes sense.

Yeah TSSF on that is so weird. It's not like their crap live show is gonna win anyone over.

It still is weird, because Coheed really haven't done tours with bands from that scene really at all in the past years.

Didn't they tour with Glassjaw a year or two ago?

Glassjaw is much more musically in line with Coheed than TBS is.

I guess I'm just used to Coheed touring with more progressive sounding bands haha

Feel like Coheed are slightly bigger than TBS these days, wonder if this will be a similar setup to the AFI/Circa/Citizen tour last year

I really like TSSF live but if it's anything bigger than 1000 cap then its not worth it
