It's funny seeing the difference between here where it's very anti-Pats, and r/nfl where it's dominated by Pats fans haha. Here I'm usually pretty safe, but on r/nfl it was dependent on whether or not everyone hated JJ Watt at that moment. I had to stay out for 3 weeks after DPOY was announced.

 

Haha well Barstool went off on Watt for a while, so the Stoolies followed suit. I love Watt. I actually kinda love the Texans, minus the stupid Leatherman's Jackets.

 

It makes sense, the Texans nickname starting in 2014 was "Pats South" haha.

i was just thinking how longs its been since daisy this morning. i still remember the exact place and time i was at when it leaked on a saturday night. i remember spending the sunday after, all day on the ap forum at work watching everyone's reactions. crazy to think back on how long it's been...

I didn't like Daisy at all when it came out or for a few years after, and I'm not as big a Brand New fan as I was, but I still remember the days surrounding the leak quite fondly. Dave "The Personist" gave me a link. Most people didn't like it in the thread. Ryan had a thesis explanation, while Justin "stupidity on parade" or whatever just sounded like a bitter old fan, lol. Dave and I thought (and I still do) that "Vices" was the best track on the album and should have inspired an entire release with the same sound.

All I remember about Daisy coming out is breaking my tailbone and not being able to go to the mall and get the album at FYE (I had it on preorder there). That's what puts the entire thing in perspective for me. Digital downloads were just becoming a "thing" (at least in my rural Tennessee town).

 

You need to watch with sound. There's a specific call out to 70x7.

 

This is sweet. Definitely think that's a Brand New teaser. Morrissey has a song called Jack the Ripper but Morrissey playing Riot Fest seems improbable. Also thinking NoFX (Linoleum), Refused (Pump The Breaks), and maybe Jimmy Eat World (Just Watch The Fireworks?).

Not getting the Janet Jackson song in a club, though.
