Do I find it entertaining? Yes. Do I think it’s got a lot of depth, no. Originality for sure though.

 

1.) A variety of issues. Mainly trust, and then I went through some things at the beginning of the year that made me a difficult person to be with.

2.) I left on my Vegas trip on good terms, even bought her a souvenir first day. She later got mad at me for liking a booty picture of some girl I met, and said I was a hypocrite cause I don’t like things like dudes sliding into her DM’s every other week and her not telling them to fuck off.

3.) Favorite thing? My wardrobe and ability to play drums. Least favorite? My inability to cope with loss in many forms.

4.) Received: Stay positive lol
Response: You know positive just ain’t my forte.

5.) Likely fob fans or the guy who cursed me out cause he thought I didn’t understand what he was dealing with.

6.) Spending time with my grandparents. I miss them greatly.

7.) Lately I’ve been jamming new Glassjaw, Troubled Coast - I’ve Been Thinking About Leaving You, The Black Panther Soundtrack, and Bad Suns.

8.) My haircut

9.) I don’t like stew, and that has potatoes.

favorite show-going experience?

 

Deeply excited to get absolutely nothing done at work today, thank u all.

Ahhhh man that is such a hard first question. I'm going to cheat and say two:

1) The Swellers 10th anniversary show in Flint, MI. A bunch of my friends came from out of town and my best friend Sara's parents were kind enough to let like, 12 of us sleep in their living room. In Flint, there's a designated graffiti space called the Hammerberg rock, and we painted it to advertise for the show. A guy from the newspaper showed up and they did a feature on us/the band, which was pretty cool. (For anyone who doesn't know, I ran a tumblr for the Swellers from 2011 until they broke up.) Pentimento was on that show too, and they're one of my absolute favorite bands. It was like, the sweatiest show, and it ended up being so hot that instead of doing the encore on stage, Nick pulled out an acoustic and played a few songs after the show outside. My only regret about the whole thing is that I was dating the shittiest dude at the time so he's in a lot of the pictures, but the memory is special enough to override that.

2) The second time I saw Paramore, on the Spring Tour in 2010 with Relient K and fun. It was one of the few concerts I got to go to in high school that my parents didn't go with me. I went with two of my best friends at the time. We ended up next to these kids who were like, ONLY there for fun, who I had never heard of before. By the time they played, I was so excited. It's the first time I ever remember being so into a set by a band I knew NOTHING about. Paramore had that GREAT intro that opened into Looking Up. I was working my way through a really serious bought of depression at the time and I probably started crying as soon as they took the stage. The biggest part of that show that stands out though, is when they played "Whoa," and Hayley kind of stopped the whole show to get the crowd involved at the bridge. She got the whole room to participate and it felt like... home? church? Something familiar and fun and sacred all at once. I still think about this show ALL the time.

I have zero cool nicknames, but in high school, everyone called me “stongey” because my last name is St. Onge and everyone thought it was funny to run it together.

woof. Well. I guess fuck Nicholas Cage, bc that would probably be interesting? Marry Steve Buscemi, because he seems like a guy who takes care of his family and is a very nice man by all account. Which sadly leaves me to kill Danny Devito, but I'm not happy about it.

I think so. Turkeys are smarter than people give them credit for and can sometimes be affectionate. I think in a perfect world, we'd appreciate how cute and pretty they are and cut them some slack.
