Yeah i haven’t listened to anything else since Sunday.

 

Also I’m probably 25 listens in, and i think this is my favorite Pianos record. And i adore Keep You

1. Does anyone know what the lyrics are for the higher backing vocal track at the end of Bitter Red during the "mercy now" part?
2. The drums at the beginning of Bloody Sweet give me a mewithYou vibe, big time.

I'm listening to them new Shakey Graves tracks.

 

This is grabbing me way more immediately than Keep You. The production on it is much better, too.

 

The biggest problem with this album is how the hell am I going to listen to anything else after it?

 

Kinda strange that Apple Music hasn’t updated with Friday releases yet, usually happens near 8 PM PST sharp. Was gonna save this and some other new albums... I wonder if they changed it to 9 PM quietly.

 

They did and I’m not happy

 

Album is fantastic, held out until tonight. I really haven't anticipated an album this much in a long long time.

My first thought after listening was that this was a perfect album. There wasn't a bad song, nor was there anything that dragged on too long and it was such an enjoyable listen.

Definitely seems a lot more immediate than keep you, and easier to get into than their first two albums in terms of songwriting and lyrical content. In a perfect world this is what should be playing on the radio.

Really hope this album gets them some more exposure as well, it should have a wider reach than their past material.
