HH hands down. I like them enough that it wouldn't get too annoying.

a couple years ago, i rushed to SLC after work (back when I lived about 40 miles away) to go see The Ataris opening for Mest and Hawthorne Heights. I went there just to see The Ataris, but I also had never seen Mest before and HH was a fine add-on too. So I get to the show, but it was right as The Ataris were playing their last song, so that bummed me out. But instead of driving all the way back home, I stayed for the rest of the show. I'd always been curious to see Mest because I liked a few of their songs a lot back when I was in high school. So some nice nostalgia there. HH played their second album in its entirety. I didn't know that one as well as their first album, but I knew a couple songs so that was fun enough to make the night not feel like a complete bust.

and HH isn't overrated at all. they are what they are. but the extreme MCR hype... i'll never really understand that.

At my old house that I rented with my friends, we would call Thursdays "pre-weekend-eve" which meant that it was fine for us to get drunk. Haha

 

To be fair, I actually prefer Thursdays, because it means I don’t waste my weekends hungover
