I think the clip sounds great. Now if I could only find out where my seats are for the Merriweather show....

 

Not going to judge off of a 30 second clip, but I'm definitely excited for the full song.

Song sounds dece. The part out of context doesn't wow me, but it does hint towards a sound that I'd be pretty happy to get on this album.

Brand New is my favorite band ever and it's not close. My husband's is Thrice so obviously we've had quite the month. I met the hubs at Bamboozle 2007 because of the AP.net Sports Forum (thanks @Jason Tate ) which was the best weekend ever for so many reasons. Brand New opened the day on Sunday and played Degausser twice during their set (and we were front row because most people weren't even inside the festival yet, we were there early to set up the AP.net booth) - we speculated that's why they played it twice. Thursday were a "secret" band listed as Bearfort and Geoff came out in a bear mask. Found these pics I took that day on my myspace (lol):

i've been compelled to google how to pronounce degausser and i'm literally hitting myself i didn't realise it was the same as gaussian. i am very slow.

 

Sometimes I forget how much time I spent in the AP NFL thread and forget the rest of the website isn't like that, so it was probably my bad haha. I was poking fun a bit but definitely don't think you're "crazy Kevin" or anything like that. But I can see how it looks like I'm just bashing you from your perspective, so I'd like to say I'm sorry and I won't do it anymore cuz you deserve to feel comfortable and you're a cool guy.

 

The NFL thread was merciless....tough to be a Pats fan there haha

 

Oh god I bet haha. I was lucky to have one other active Texans fan there and the Colts population was very low so it was easy to get by, but yeah as a Pats fan I can't imagine having fun back then.
