I still think Brand New should name the album after him but he called it

 

I saw that too, made me laugh.

 

After reading his post in the supporter forum yesterday I was so close to being like ... "dude, I think you should give it one more month" but didn't know how to say that with out totally giving something away.

 

would it be fair to assume that the band is releasing official info on this tomorrow?

 

I honestly don't know now. Things always change when stuff comes out early. If I had a guess, it could go either way, like "fuck you we're doing it our own way" or it'll be a press release in a few hours and the full song is on their website.

 

Right on. I was kind of hoping for the latter, but if I was the band, I would definitely consider the former as a valid option.

 

I liked the "Mene" Brand New font better than this one

What's going on with the cover btw? Looks so trippy I have no idea what to make of it lol

Also looks a bit like it could be the album art as it's certainly a lot more elaborate than Mene was but pure speculation.

Judging by the preview they're certainly sticking to their word on it being something more like the demos between Deja and TDAG. Which is fine with me.

I'd like to just say the kerning on the cover is truly worse than any song the band has ever released.

 

Yeah someone has just opened up the tracking and not gone back and sorted the letter spacing individually. The text also makes the image look oddly off centre

 

Isn't that something to do with the distance between the lettering? Looks okay to me, but I'm really not one for that kind of thing.

 

Uhh so I looked on the UK site and the song has two listings, one as a single and one as an album, both with different ASIN numbers whatever that means (some Amazon identification number I think). No idea if that means anything

 

Mene had the same thing too I believe on Amazon.
