My dog is literally a baby. He's growing up so fast. Hard to believe his first day of school is coming up.

Lol, as funny as this comment is, it’s actually a thing. My mom took in a 15yo Pomeranian who was given up for adoption. It was part of this organization that aims to give older dogs a comfortable and loving last few years of their life. I think we had her for like two years almost

 

i adopted an older cat (i think 5 counts) and i thank myself every day

 

I made a pitbull friend at work today and not to be dramatic I will take a bullet for him he’s the fucking best.

I didn't mean my dog post to sound judgemental I just know it's sometimes hard on the dog if it's bounced around from home to home. Fostering sounds great!

 

What is fostering, like how long do you keep the dog

You keep the pup until he finds a forever home. Usually a rescue will save a dog from a high kill shelter and that rescue will have someone foster a dog until a willing adopter is found!

 

You also get first dibs if you end up wanting the doggo

 

I think my dog needs around 4 or 5 siblings sometime soon.

It can lag a few weeks or even a year or so. Depends really. Basically the point is to foster until it find a permanent home or somebody else wants to take over fostering.

 

I'll adopt a dog with a blog as long as I get a hefty percentage of that blogging advertisement income!

 

just asked old HR guy when I can expect my severance payment. i fully expect him to say "we never got your paperwork" despite having an email record of it, or b) something's fucked up in their system(s) with my old name because they are incompetent

Depends but it’s def important to speak to the apartment on what they can do. Sometimes you might not have to.
