I love how the album relies on bass distortion to carry the rhythms and that allows the guitars to lay back way more too. its a cool sound.

well it is a super interesting record, I wish I'd get the amount of listens in I'd like!

but, ya no, Fortnite...

 

what number you at? I have no idea but i think im on my 6th or 7th listen

 

So I've got 5 listens under my belt, here are my favorites: Fake Lighting, Dry Spells, and Forever Sound. Still need more listens to be able to really differentiate between the last 4. I know that just means the record will grow on me when I still don't have a great grasp on it after 5 listens.

that guitar bit in Filial is what perked my ear to this band in the first place.

I know thats going to be a lot of peoples bottom, but I really like how that song kicks it up a notch. super excited for that one live.

 

How do you know that's going be at the bottom for a lot of people? Like, what evidence does the song present to you? It's fucking great

I think every song on here is great, and I don't have a clear answer. But if someone asked me what songs I thought people would like the least I think I would name that one.

Lol. Literally just came into this thread to make Spongebob quotes. But I actually have the first singles on non-stop repeat while I wait for the official release of this album. "Charisma" may be my favorite song of the year thus far.

 

So glad you guys like the video! Really happy with it. Also, thanks for the heads up on this. Epitaph is fixing it now, should be cleared up soon.

The build-up in the final minute of Bloody Sweet gives me chills. Man the drums are incredible on this album.

 

This band does vocal harmonies so perfectly. It's amazing how good of a vocalist Kyle has become since Old Pride.
