I just got home to see that the Marlies won. Incoming Calder Cup champs, son.

 

Right so Lovenox is basically the same thing as heparin which can be reversed by protamine. Lovenox is the new standard over the old drug which was coumadin. Lovenox has a much quicker turn around time than coumadin when stopped so it's adventageous but to have him play while on it is dangerous. Here's the thing though, for a patient we see with a first time blood clot...we want them on Lovenox for at least six months to make sure they're properly anti-coagulated. Anything less is largely against protocol.

My guess is they're willing to take the chance because his clots were caused by thoracic outlet syndrome and they surgically removed the extraneous rib causing it.

We did not deserve to stay in this. Series should be 2-0 so I'll take this loss haha. And it's astounding we are playing without Stamkos, Bishop, and Callahan.

 

I was watching the Dodgers game and I turned it back and was like "huh I guess the game hasn't started OT yet" and then I realized the game had already ended and those were the highlights what the heck.

I wanna be mad but at least they aren't coming back down 2-0 and hopefully they know not let the Penguins double up on shots, that certainly didn't help tonight. Still upset I won't be home to attend game 3 or 4.

 

This is the first time I'd consider starting Fleury next game.
