The actual reason they're doing it is probably because fucking nerds are complaining about pretty girls that are "stealing subs". Remember that one fucking edge lord that went viral?

I googled “twitch female streamers” to try to find an article or something about that “revealing” shit, and a bunch of bullshit about “HOTTEST/SEXIEST FEMALE TWITCH STREAMERS” came up instead.

Alright, so I’ve been thinking about grabbing a Switch but I’m on the fence. Switch peeps, is it well worth getting one right now or should I wait a little longer?

 

I'd say this is probably the best time right now with all the heavy hitters out right now and the indie collection is growing like crazy.

 

What should I know about it? Like is the screen easy to scratch? What peripherals should I look into?

I own a switch myself but I hardly play it just due to me being terrible at play time management.

 

If you're a careful person it's fine. The only thing you really need is a carrying case.

 

And a lot of those female streamers are a-ok with lists like that because they use their attractiveness to get views. So are we supposed to be mad at guys watching women who are trying to get views because they're hot? That's like getting mad at people for looking up a top ten pornhub star list.

You can't be mad at people wanting to desexualize Twitch and then get mad at the other people who are supporting it at the same time. I dgaf about titty streamers on Twitch or not. But you can't be mad at people watching 'em if you want them to stay

All she did was google "female Twitch streamers" and immediately arrived at those lists. In your analogy that would mean that mainly Pornhub star lists would come up if you google "actresses". So no, not the same, for fuck's sake.

There's more, but I'm pretty sure I'd be wasting my time again. Just back off, don't tell her how to feel as a woman participating in the video game discourse when confronted with a symptom of the never ending sexism in this industry/"culture".

I think I might get a Switch this month for my birthday, but I'm curious if there's any real way to do local multiplayer. From what I can tell the controller basically is the system, so is there no way to play like Mario Kart for example split screen?

 

The little controllers come off, and some games like Mario Kart allow for two people to each use one of those little controllers. For other games, you need additional controllers (either another set of joy con or a pro controller).

 

The system is actually 2 controllers. The left and right joy cons can be used as two different controllers in some games such as Mario Kart. You can play split screen up to 4 players in docked mode or table top mode I believe
