the last moment i remember considering myself a pop punk fan was when Wonder Years released Suburbia. after that, Story So Far took over and i thought they were a garbage heap (they are, as people and performers) and i was shaking my head. then Real Friends come around and all my show-going friends were super into them and i just died a little every day since

 

that took a very specific and strange left turn
