Disney Is Making More Star Wars TV Shows, In Case You Thought There Wasn’t Enough Star Wars
Iger confirms multiple tv series, we might be hearing about one soon!

“We are developing not just one, but a few Star Wars series specifically for the Disney direct-to-consumer app,” the executive said. “We’ve mentioned that and we are close to being able to reveal at least one of the entities that is developing that for us. Because the deal isn’t completely closed, we can't be specific about that. I think you’ll find the level of talent . . . on the television front will be rather significant as well.”

i've just accepted i won't be able to keep up. i'll prob catch the movies when they come out but wait for shows to be bingeable (if they don't take the all-at-once method from netflix)

So excited for announcements. I can’t wait to see who’s involved and what time period. I’m hoping Sam Witwer gets a live action role and Feloni gets a bigger role

Finished Cobalt Squadron. Easily my least favorite of the 6 Star Wars books I’ve read. It wasn’t terrible but just nothing special. The overall narrative wasn’t all that compelling. The characters minus Paige and rose were weak.

It was nice to see Rose and Paige and their bond together which I thought was well done. Kind of one note but I still liked Paige a lot. It was cool to see how the story is integrated into canon with TFA and why they weren’t there on Starkiller base and really ends just before the start of TLJ.

Actually adds some depth to why Holdo is furious/dismissive of Poe after he disobeyed orders and sacrificed the StarFortresses. Also adds some added meaning to roses joy when she sees the fathiers.

As far as Rose goes I think her character overall could’ve been handled better and more consistently. In this she’s kind of a brat who complains about everything and kind of pessimistic and cynical. I couldn’t see her as the type of person who would’ve fawned over Finn being a hero and then saying “wow...” and “do talking”. I thought her insecurity about her own abilities and her handling responsibility and indepence was well done though.

I kind of wish her dorkiness like those lines when she first meets Finn was a bigger part of her character in this book and conversely her insecurity about her own abilities in the book would’ve been more consistent in the movie.

This was written after the movie was made though so I can forgive that more.

I really liked Phasma overall. How far are you? I thought when they were in the desert/at constar it dragged but from the Arratu part on I loved it.

  8. They are on their way to find Hux's ship and they just killed the party of people they came across...so probably only 150 pages or so in.

I think it might be better if I had read it before seeing the movie, but since she just isn't that important of a character in the movies it makes me not care about her back story as much.

Yea that’s understandable but i still recommend you finish. The only reason i love Phasma is because of this book. Once you get to the Arratu it gets better

Damn that was an amazing episode. We all knew that was gonna happen but I figured it would be in the 2nd last episode not this soon. Pretty cool way to go with force pushing the explosion and the crew away in different directions. Also watching it live, a super annoying Pokémon commercial immediately following the moment really killed the mood lol

Yeah, just watched and immediately regretted starting the day like that. I was an absolute wreck through both of those episodes. Zebb hugging Ezra. Hera hugging Chopper. Fuck. I cant even think about it without tearing up.

Yeah, I couldnt help to think of xmen:X2 because thats exactly what happened in that movie, but I still loved it. but it was just overall an amazing episode. Both visually and score wise we’re both incredible. When Kanan rescued Hera the theme was used perfectly. Also drunk Hera was funny

  22. I definitely don't need any more cool posters to sit in a pile waiting for me to frame them for my near non existent wallspace, but this was too nice for me to have self control

Loved the two episodes of Rebels last night. I'm glad this is getting an actual ending, unlike what happened with Clone Wars. This definitely feels like they're ending the show how they always wanted to.

I tried watching this on my lunch break in my car and kind of got wrecked all over again so I had to stop lol it was still too fresh. Now watching it again now and still cant get through it without tears. And then I saw TLJ after work and once again still cry at those moments so basically Im just a hot mess today.

Oddly Im really happy after it all. Good day.
