Oh yeah. He was really good. He was with Pittsburgh for most of the 90's, if I remember correctly and was a regular in the pro-bowl, etc.

I wanna see the check Kraft is writing McDaniels because it better be worth it.

He has his reputation for becoming the Broncos head coach, immediately alienating Cutler and forcing a trade for Kyle Orton (which causes Brandon Marshall to be on his way out) and drafting Tim Tebow.

Then, when he's worked his way up to a second chance as a head coach, he ditches the Colts due to "sweeteners" in his Patriots contract (which is VERY likely that he's Belichick's successor). When the time comes that he becomes the Pats head coach, Brady will likely be done, Belichick will be gone, and the dynasty crumbling will be left on the plate of Josh McDaniels.

That paycheck better be massive because, if he isn't considered it already, he's going to reach Petrino levels of infamy across the entire league INCLUDING the Patriots.

 

I can't wait until we get a 30 for 30 on this one day.

Haha yeah, pretty much every tweet or article I've seen about it has a similar type headline. Pretty funny.

 

Thing is, as infamous as Bobby Petrino was...he still got a 7r/$24.5mil deal to coach at Louisville. Which is almost assuredly more money a year than McDaniels is making as OC.

He'll ruin his NFL career, but end up in some cushy college job within 6 months. Football is the worst

Kind of hope it's the Thanksgiving game since I get to go to that every year with my parents.
