I hope they gratuitously show that super nun getting smashed to bits.

He's on Skagos (cannibal island) with Osha and Shaggydog. Wyman Manderly learns this, sends Davos to recover him.

If they brought back Rickon for 5 seconds for him to just be killed or already be dead, I'm not sure what the point would be. I feel as though there is plenty of motivation for Jon and Sansa to take back Winterfell without Rickon. In fact, she said she would do it herself even before they received the letter.

    I'm wondering that myself.

I wonder if word comes North with Littlefinger that the Blackfish is holed up there, so Sansa sends Brienne on a mission to bring him to her for more support/maybe rally some riverlords to her and what not.

Yeah, I have no idea what they will do with him. The character as a whole has hardly even been part of the show, so it's hard to tell how important he is/will be. I didn't exactly feel like I cared about him when he popped up at Ramsay's other than the fact that he was a Stark.

From next week's preview, I have a guess that Bran is using his new ability without the three-eyed Raven, believes he's going to see something else, and winds up standing in front of the army of undead. Which would explain why the Raven isn't standing with him and Meera can't wake him up.

Yeah, they are hitting us over the head with the "don't stay too long or you'll never leave!" thing. I imagine something's going to go wrong with him jumping around like that. Is it possible that that is how the raven got stuck in the tree or was it implied that he was just there waiting for Bran all along?

According to the Raven, he was waiting for Bran. But I think there's more to it than he's let off so far.

The thing that pisses me off the most about High Sparrow is how hypocritical he is. He IS judgmental for punishing Margaery and Loras for perversion or whatever when he himself engaged in sex orgies (which isn't necessarily perverse, but definitely more amped up compared to anything Margery or Loras have done) and nothing they did was ever perverse in any way. He is also kind of high and mighty for thinking that having group sex once makes you a sinner and shitty person who should completely change your life. There is probably more to his story that he's leaving out though.

Another thought: Targaryens have resistance to fire because they have dragon's blood in their veins, right? So does that mean that, at some point, their ancestors were banging dragons?

I think it's just an expression, @Driving2theBusStation . Like I know in the books, Ned's older brother and Lyanna were both said to have a touch of "Wolf's Blood" that made them wild and whatnot.

This makes a lot of sense. I can absolutely see that happening. Plus, this way he will know what's coming and hopefully play an integral part in the war to come.

    I'm Back.

Have you heard the theory that he is Howlan(sp?) Reed? I guess he never used to wear shoes and that was one of his main traits, the High Sparrow does the same thing but seems a lot older than Reed would have been.

  17. I love that theory. Doubt it's true, though.

Yeah this one was kind of a long shot I always thought, the age difference as displayed in the show basically disproves the whole thing. I think Howland is going to be really important in the books as he's the only person (only one south of the wall anyway if you count Bran using his ability) who can verify Jon's parentage, just don't think he's been introduced yet.

I hope Ramsay gets flayed and then eaten by his own dogs.

  21. I will literally punch a hole in whatever is closest to me at the time if they make the High Sparrow out to be Howland Reed.

    I think Jon wouldn't though.
He seems very much afraid of death at the moment.
Even when he agreed to go you can tell he isn't the same person.

Something is going to have to happen to reignite the fire in him if he is who Melisandre believes him to be, and I don't think this letter was it. Like lets say Jon and Ramsey faced off in the next episode. In no way would it make sense or be believable for Jon to win that fight. Ramsey is focused on what he wants, where Jon still seems rather empty.
