Also, if you're going to keto/budget shop, Aldi is life. Organic meat, tons of veg, super cheap. Highly recommend.

 

When I was in the Bay Area, there were a lot of farmers markets and this one store in Berkeley that I would go to that had produce for super cheap, but I don’t know where anything is over here

 

Never heard of Aldi, but apparently there’s one where I live

It used to be where the poor people shopped (stereotype where I grew up, at least), but it's super legit now. Think Trader Joe's but not as expensive, more middle class. Almost all private label, but much cheaper than TJ's.

 

You can do it! If anything, it's interview experience!

 

Aldi is great for packaged food, not great at all for produce. Unless you're going to eat it right away

 

That's a good way of looking at it. I initially passed it up due to the pay when they called me yesterday but I called them back and told them I'm interested in interviewing for it

When I used to buy groceries regularly, 40 to 60 bucks would last me two weeks @Dog with a Blog but I definitely bought a lot of carbs. Bread and rice tended to be the main parts of meals but they lasted a while. Also cereal. I'm not very healthy

 

I will always back Aldi because they pay their cashiers bank. For a place with their reputation to be giving cashiers more than a living wage is great.
