I'm almost positive that the place I used to rent games from in my hometown was called Video Village, not sure if it was a chain or just a common name haha

 

Slept in a Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot in Austin, TX with Dustin once. Good times.

 

Neighborhood Markets is just the grocery section, and the "Discount Centers" is the pre-Super Center Walmart with the grocery section added on. Super Center is the all in one.

 

I think it was a chain haha, was it like red outline text with a yellow background?

I remember almost begging you to just park in a lot somewhere bc I was so tired and didn't care at all lol Texas heat sucked the life out of me.

 

That's not the problem. The issue is that I can't cook. I usually just grab chicken and pork to bake and fruit for smoothies. I know what I'm capable of. lol

 

Go to the Recipe Thread imo. Just pick easy stuff to learn and you'll get better. I used to suck ass at cooking and now I have to pretend I'm still bad so my wife won't make me cook every night.

 

Aldi is my favorite. It's the thing I miss most from where I went to college.

 

I have an Aldi right down the street from my apartment. Pretty sweet deal

Super centers are open 24/7 I thought. The one here closes at 9.

 

Yeah almost all of them are 24/7. And there will still be a line in the middle of the night

 

That was a ridiculously hot week too haha SXSW gets rained on so much but that week was pure sun

 

I think my interview went really well. And surprisingly, I'd really like the job.

Still more excited for the one on Wednesday.

I went with Lueda and Wade in 2013, I think? Yeah, that sounds about right.

I would have met so many of you at the AP showcase if my license hadn't been expired!

 

I have been utterly incapable of finding a picture (the store doesn't exist anymore obviously), but some Google searches did indicate that there was a store called Video Village in my town.

 

Did Wade make the jump over? I still follow him on Twitter. Been forever since we talked though.
