I’m assuming they originally planned for withpinsandstring to take a few days to solve, which more than accounts for the sort-of silence the last few days.

Side note: This fanbase’s pleasant, responsible response to a cryptic album rollout is downright refreshing compared to the Brand New rollouts. Those (SciFi and Shone, which everyone thought was BN) got so nuts they caused more stress than enjoyment.

Bought the VIP upgrade- never done this for a show before. The package looked pretty good, anyone have any experiences of this?

 

Where you seeing the VIP tickets at? I can't find them.. definitely something I'd be interested in as well.

Edit - checked Facebook, it's on there. I'm intrigued too, never done anything like that .My main concern is what do you do with the poster during the gig? I don't want to have a bulky poster all night ruining the gig for me, as silly as that sounds.

 

When I’ve done those VIP packages in the past, I think we were able to pick up the posters later in the night.

 

I usually end up just holding the poster if they give it early lol... can be an annoyance, but hey, you’re getting cool merch.

 

I've always thought VIP stuff can be kind of irritating. I don't want to hold all the merch during the show, I'd honestly prefer they mail it to me even if I get it after the show.

 

Got a London ticket. Wonder who the openers will be, they have a history of having great supports.

 

I'm really hoping for someone like Microwave. Between the three that would be a dream lineup for me

 

I did it for their tour last summer, the preshow set thing was definitely fun and worth it. Kinda felt like we were just hanging out at their band practice.

 

Getting a Dublin ticket as soon as I'm paid tomorrow, might even try to snag a VIP upgrade if I'm honest. I don't usually go in for that shit like AT ALL, but these guys have written records that mean so much to me it's almost a case of 'well why the hell wouldn't you?'. We'll see what happens but I will definitely be at the show.

I believe it's a group photo with everyone doing VIP and the band, not an individual photo with the band.

 

Yeah I got that VIP thing on their tour in Fall 2016 with Real Friends and Knuckle Puck. It was everyone who got VIP with the band mixed in the area. I'm in the center-back to the left of Josh and Matt

 

Would love to see microwave open for them again. TWY tour with letlive, tiny moving parts, and microwave from a few years back is still one of my favorite shows ever

 

Absolutely agree with this. Literally fell in love with every band after onky knowing TWY.

Either way, like others have said, pre-orders are happening starting this week.

 

I've started collecting prints and I'll bring a poster tube with me to show's where I know a print is being sold. Much easier to hold than the poster and it'll protect it. I've also had luck greasing the palm of the merch person to hold it for me.

 

Every time I see a new notification from this thread, I hope to see that the new song is out. One of these days, I will not be disappointed (hopefully tomorrow)

My wife is in the front row & I may or may not be the guy in the red shirt throwing up the devil horns.

I got to pick a song out of a hat (unfortunately it happened to be Lord's Prayer) for their preshow warm up. VIP was well worth it.
