I promise I’m not anybody’s alt account, but I’m gonna get to sleep too. My son has a sinus infection and pinkeye so I’ll probably be up with him at some point in the night :/

I was talking to Jing Kohn the other day about this. It’s somewhat interesting that like 90% of the posters (at least the active ones) on a website that, on the surface, is so vocal about inclusivity and being a safe place, are white males. I’m not saying anything wrong is necessarily happening, but it’s probably important to at least recognize this.

 

Do you hear some similarities with Andy? I sure do.

I'm thinking yes in the afternoon sometime around 2 or 3 maybe? But that will depend on if there's enough of a turnout. Def want to do one this week. Its been far too long. We are due for one.

I think the last one we did was for Jimmy Eat World - Futures and as always that was a fun one.

 

I just want to say that no one in here has ever made me feel uncomfortable. I really like it here. Seeing more women/trans people/non-binary people would be really cool but I don't think anyone in this particular thread is putting off more people joining. I generally don't know many women who go on forums but I also don't know many people obsessed with music. Definitely important to recognise there aren't many women or people who identify as non-male here, and try to figure out how we can inspire different people to join
