If he gets a massive contract, it would be a huge disappointment if he doesn’t live up to it.

Picks and money invested in a player.

 

I can’t wait for Tannehill to come back.

 

Oh yeah he shouldn't get a massive contract yet or at all.

 

Went through my "hot take" predictions from before the season and I only got 1 2/3 right:

1. New Orleans makes the playoffs while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 4th in their division. (There was a part where I said Michael Thomas would be the league leader in yards and that part did not come true)
2. Minnesota has or is tied for best record in the league but loses in the NFC Championship.

Anyone have any that ended up happening?

 

I'm pretty sure I had the Jets at 6-10 and the Broncos at 8-8

 

Was there a predictions thread? I'm trying to go back and find shit but i'm lost

 

I said the Browns could double or even triple their wins from 2016. Boy was I wrong.

 

Dustin said Rams would be 4-12
Julez said Houston will wind up with a record good for the 4th overall pick lol

Preseason Deshone Kizer had the Notre Dame fan in me make a small bet with a coworker that they would win six games and well

I'm not a huge Butler fan so I'm a huge fan of this signing

 

Lolol I found it I had the Jets at 2-14 but did have Broncos at 8-8

 

Way too risky. I didn't think Kizer was overly great, but I gave him the rookie label to blame.

They somehow went unfathomably worse after a 1-15 season.

 

No I didn't? I said I was excited (sarcastically) to watch them go 4-12 in All Or Nothing which they did go 4-12 in the year for All Or Nothing.

 

Kizer could still be something. He was never ready to start though. Dude was not very good in college so I don't know why people thought he would somehow turn out better in the pros. Cleveland needs to do the smart thing here; Sign Bradford, Draft Mayfield, trade Kizer, Kessler, and Hogan for whatever you can get.

 

I was admittedly on a work call when I said that and was just throwing shit at the wall.

 

In your defense I did think the Rams wouldn't be good, just not 4-12 bad

 

I couldn't find any of my predictions on this site but here are the ones I put on my friend's FB page:

-Michael Thomas leads all WRs in yards. The Saints make the playoffs while the Bucs, despite the hype, finish 4th in their division. (I got this one 2/3 right)
-LeSean McCoy does not finish the season on the Bills roster due to demanding a trade. (Completely wrong)
-JJ Watt wins 3 awards at NFL Honors. (Watt won 1 award so completely wrong)
-Dak Prescott has a 7 TD game. (Never been more wrong in my life)
-The Washington Redskins hold the #1 pick in the 2018 Draft. They select a QB to replace Cousins, who joins the Dolphins in the offseason. (2/3 wrong, Cousins going to Miami completely TBD but very unlikely)
-TO still isn't inducted into the HOF. (So happy to be wrong)
-The Vikings hold the best record in the NFL but lose the NFC Championship. (Right if tying for the best record counts)
-Tom Brady's career ends in Mexico City against the Raiders. (Very wrong again)

 

I said the Jags would go 5-2 into their bye and finish 7-9. They went 4-3 and finished 10-6.

 

Kizer was not good in college and you don't know why people thought he would somehow turn out better in the pros... yet he could still be something?

 

I only wanna sign Butler under the pretense that:
1. He is not the only big name CB that the Texans sign
and 2. He lines up against TY Hilton every snap when they play the Colts

Would much rather go after Trumaine+Colvin
