its this thing that my company holds over your head talking about it all year about how we'll get it in march and they tell you to work hard and long fucking hours for months straight without taking a day off, then in february they tell you that apparently because of forces outside your control you're not getting a bonus/raise because you didn't deliver a project even though you finished all of the fucking work on it 2 months earlier than you said you would because the business team decided they weren't ready for that type of change.
