Headed West. I expect safe house to win and most days I’d probably vote for it too but today I give the nod to West.

Lifeboats. Really tough call, but the sense of dread in this song is insane.

Safe House (Always loved how catchy this chorus is and not so much Headed West)

Ghost Town (probably my favorite Bside they have)

Irish Eyes ( come on @BTDandFeelingThis, wtf placing my two favs together in the first round. Super unfair! I know Lifeboats will sweep but Irish Eyes has more energy to me and the screaming is used sparingly and effective)

The Fire (another hard one. Both have great bridges, but the Fire's is a little bit more passionate and intense to me. Plus that lead guitar during the verses.....)

Safe House - nothing too special about Headed West imo Safe House is one of the best songs on the record

Nero - I didn’t even know Ghost Town was a song, but this first listen is great. Lots of things you love about Senses Fail in the song. I just haven’t had the time for the song to sink in like I’ve had for Nero

Lifeboats - I think Coward is the best heavy song on the record, but still easy for me vote Lifeboats here

The Fire - this is a brutal matchup. Two of my top 3 songs on the record. The song “The Fire” is spot on descriptor of what this record is. Also a turning point in Buddy’s lyrics with some light finally pouring through

Safe House. Both are great but this edges it. I just think the chorus is slightly stronger.

Nero, but these are my two least favourites.

Life Boats. The lyrics on this track mean a lot to me and this is my favourite SF song easily. Crushing and lacking hope, there are one or two moments that really make this stand out, from "Late late at night under black and blue moons/I question the reasons that I self-abuse" to "What do you do when you got nothing left?/Give up! Give up! And hope for the best!"

The Fire. I like that this song has an element of hope and togetherness.

Coward. This one was a hard choice bc both songs are so tight, but I really just like how Coward lines up certain parts.
