They opened with Family Reunion at a bunch of shows in 2003. My first blink show was that year, and that was the opener.

 

Anyone else notice the 5-arrow smiley above them throughout the performance?

 

I'm sorry but I didn't like Matt on First Date. He also fumbled the lyrics.

I think Tom has screwed those lyrics up way worse than that.

 

i honestly dont know how i feel about them performing tom only songs. i know they are some of the biggest hits. its about the only thing with the new line up that makes me uneasy

 

Lol many times. And it sounded like Matt changed the last line to "you make me nervous so I really can't sing" which would get him an instant pass for me lol

 

Meh. He didn't write them, so it's passable. Tom wrote the lyrics and has performed the song a million times and fucked them up so much worse almost regularly, as other people have stated.

 

It's just that Tom's voice was SO unique, and not really in a good way, so it is missed when I hear something like this.

 

I'm cool with it. You can't just abandon half of the catalog.

 

Tom is gone guys. Forever. Matt's gonna sing Tom songs, and it's gonna be fine.
