Boykin not even making it to training camp is odd. I wonder why teams don't like him. He's shown to be good enough for at least a roster spot.

Panthers cut Brandon Boykin. Obviously I am missing something cause he was a good player with the Eagles. Guess this is why I watch from the couch every weekend.

 

Eh, hard to give him much credit. On top of turning a "$200million" taxpayer investment into about $550-600mil in this process, Blank also gets all revenue from stadium events. With the Georgia Dome, the city took all revenues of non-NFL events. So, Blank basically has the same deal Jerry has, but, got half the thing paid for rather than self-financing.

Making concessions a reasonable price is filler by comparison...

And when people in Atlanta wonder why they are bottom 10% in public transit, they can point to the billions they threw at sports stadiums, to teams that had good homes and were no threat of leaving

 

That's exactly the point though, he should be doing it that yet most people are like "wow, how charitable of him" because he really didn't have to be fair and could've kept ripping people off like most stadiums do... Right?

 

Apparently the Panthers but Boykin but signed Shaq Richardson who couldn't make the Steelers the year he was drafted.

 

I doubt Richardson makes the team. From what I've read, the coaches really like the 3 rookies and they'll likely see a lot of playing time this season. I still think Peanut or Cromartie will be signed.

Regardless, the Boykin situation is surprising.

 

Its odd he got cut for Shaq Richardson. If it was gonna because he had no shot at the roster...sure, tehn you do it as a courtesy. But to cut him for that dumpster fire?
