Odor should get a huge suspension

 

Probably will get a longer suspension than Reyes...

 

Odor may have connected on the punch but Joey Bats still sent their sorry asses home last year soooo

 

Blue Jays got their asses sent home shortly after too while having "the greatest team in baseball ever" sooooo

 

5-7 Braves fans, everybody else roots for good teams.

Define "good" teams

 

Braves fans would tell you anything other than the what the Braves are doing is good. That's the lowest bar though.

 

Hard to believe these teams play in the same league



Braves are on pace for 41 wins. The record for a 162-game season is 42.

 

As Chris said anything that's not the Braves!

 

Feel much better about the Yankees, not ready to put them in the good column yet though. Lol but winning series against the Red Sox, Royals and White Sox is a good start

 

My team should be good but we've given the Twins half their wins so

 

It's fun to finally get to see Betances/Miller/Chapman in action at once. I know Betances wasn't perfect today but you gotta think that most days it's lights out from the 7th on if they've got a lead.

 

Yeah that was kind of a textbook Rivera blown save, got burned by two well placed grounders. And Melky is just tough to get anything past lol. But at least the season doesn't feel hopeless anymore to me haha. Hope Greinke and Shelby Miller keep up their struggles for this next series.

 

People have their varying opinions on the brawl yesterday, but some here need know that Bautista is not some saint here who was brutally attacked without provocation. In his statement after the game he said he had no intention of hurting Odor, but when you watch the clip it is pretty clear the only thing that prevented Odor from getting flipped was a timely acrobatic move. And baseball move or not, Bautista knew the slide would be illegal and perceived as an attempt to injure. He's already gotten rung up for this kind of slide earlier in the year against my Rays, so he's in the know about what and what not to do. And let us not allow whatever stories we may have read cloud our judgement when the tape gives all the evidence we need to see that Bautista was winding up for his own punch prior to getting rocked. Odor just made sure which way the narrative would go from here on out. And all the talk on the Blue Jays' side about who is the bigger man is pointless, because you can't apply blame to one party and concede the other's actions as justified. If Bautista wanted to be the bigger man he would have thought, "you know, we got the better of them last year, so I can let this HBP go." Instead, he opted to try and take Odor out and paid for it, dearly.

Any news on suspension yet?

 

They'll likely come today sometime i'm sure. Maybe tomorrow given the number of people that'll likely get suspended
